ELWOOD
Elwood is a Green
Winged Macaw that came to Safehaven aged 18 months on the 12.5.90. Elwood, like Ackroyd, has occasional asthma attacks and he is a weird and wonderful character. He looks as if he has been put together from spare parts of several other Macaws. His main hobby is eating, although he does take a break to come and meet people. He loves to pretend that he is ferocious, to do this he swell himself up to about three times his normal size. Elwood is the father of Gem who sadly died over the Christmas period of 2000, and his life partner is Alf. Elwood swears but not in the same category as Ali. |
