SWEARING CHARLIE

Charlie is a Green Winged Macaw and is at least 24 years old.
Charlie came to us on 22 April 2000 because his owners were moving to Spain. They had had him for 18 years after rescuing him from a night club where he had suffered much torment and abuse.

Charlie feather plucks his chest but is gradulally allowing his feathers to grow back. He has bonded with Coco and they make a formidable pair.

Charlie is an excellent talker but most of his words are unprintable which he has passed onto several other Macaws. He is now very happy and lives his life to the full.
