BUD

Bud Bud is a Blue & Gold Macaw and he arrived at SPR on 18.11.99 because his people had work commitments that meant he would be at home for 12 hours a day on his own. They thought that this was unfair on him, and he was starting to feather pluck.

Bud is well adjusted and has led a better life than some of the other birds. He is gentle, loving and talks well. His feathers started to grow back almost as soon as he arrived.

This is a measure of how quickly he has settled in and what SPR can do.
