Below are some things you can do to help our charity. If you can help us in any way big or small, the birds and staff would be very grateful. ~ Raise Awareness - you can raise awareness about Safehaven in your area by putting up posters in places like the local vets and the library and giving out 'About Safehaven' Leaflets. (Download both documents on the 'Downloads' page) ~ Become a member - your membership fee goes towards the upkeep and care of resident birds and will also make you eligible to apply to foster one of the many birds that come to us for rehoming. *Standard Membership - £15 for the first member then £7.50 extra per family member per annum. With this you will get: - Membership Card - Quarterly Newsletter (contains news, events & updates within the charity) - Car Sticker - 10% off of Tidy Mix parrot diet *Gold Membership - £24 for the first member then £12 extra per family member per annum. With this you will get: - Membership Card - Quarterly Newsletter (contains news, events & updates within the charity) - Car Sticker - Badge - 10% off of all tidymix products You can get a membership application form from the 'Downloads' page. ~ Fundraise - We rely totally on fundraising efforts to bring in the resources needed to keep the charity going. Any event large or small is a great help. Some fundraising ideas are: - Car boot Sales - Raffles - Sponsored walk, run, bike ride etc - Marathons - Record breaking attempts For more information please contact our admin office. ~ Make a donation - Please help our charity by giving generously to either our building fund or our general fund.
